KIZOMBA OPEN FESTIVAL
The mission of the event is to promote the dance of kizomba as one of the most important and trending examples of African culture.
The popularity of the kizomba dance scene has been developing quickly due to globalization and the solidarity propelled by the Portuguese community rich with culture, language, and art. The event is pivotal in the evolution of dance by way of meeting new people, communicating interculturally, and immersing into an exotic culture. The KIZOMBA OPEN FESTIVAL brings together an array of dancers and dance expressions that embody the authenticity of kizomba culture and community. It is also meant to provide a space for networking amongst and between professional dancers, teachers, artists, and lovers of dance.
The kizomba has made its way into the hearts, movements, and lives of many kizomba fans. This event seeks to expand the kizomba community and invite new faces to experience and embrace the feeling of the dance.

La finalidad principal de dicho evento es difundir y promover la kizomba como una de las muestras de la cultura africana.
Su práctica cada vez más extendida, gracias a la globalización y a los miembros de la comunidad lusófona que conviven con nosotros, hace que este festival vaya más allá de una simple exhibición de baile, queriendo ser una forma de conocer, comunicar y compartir su cultura.
Este festival ayudará a fomentar esta disciplina de baile, en diferentes ciudades de España, y a conocer la auténtica raíz de la kizomba. Así mismo, será un apoyo y reconocimiento a todos aquellos bailarines profesionales, profesores y aficionados que han hecho que la kizomba sea algo muy especial en sus vidas, y en las nuestras.
